Setting up an FTP access
To access the Webhosting Control Panel, log in to the customer portal my.green.ch with your personal access data.
Set up FTP access
Click on FTP access in the menu on the left. You will now see an overview of all FTP accesses created.
Note: For the first time use of the already created primary FTP user you have to change his password. To do so, click on Actions and then on Change Account.
Click on +Add access to create another FTP access. Now define the name, folder and password. We recommend a secure password. By clicking on the key symbol you can generate a secure password automatically. Click on the Add button.
A summary of the connection data is displayed. Make a note of this data, you will need them for the FTP connection.
Be sure to write down the password. Once you close the summary, you will not be able to view the password again.
You can view the connection details (except the password) at any given time by clicking on the Actions item and clicking on Connection details in the drop-down menu. If you have lost your password for FTP access, you can click on Actions on the rightside and in the drop-down menu on Change access.
