How to switch your domain to Green

How does transferring my domain work?
With most domain endings, this transfer works using an AuthCode, also known as Transfer Authorization Code, TransAuthCode, or Transfer Code. You can obtain this code from your previous registrar or provider.
When you enter the domain at Green, this will be displayed (correctly) as “In use”. Now click “Select”, enter the AuthCode of your previous provider and confirm it. Then you can complete the order as usual. The domain transfer will be submitted to the registry.

How long does it take to transfer my domain?
If you already have a domain address ending in .ch or .li, your domain will arrive at Green within just a few hours. Depending on the domain ending, the transfer can also take several days, such as with a .com domain. You’ll be notified by email once everything is complete.
