How do I configure the firewall (WAF) to my web hosting?
With the help of the Website Application Firewall (WAF) we reliably detect attacks (e.g. SQL injections or cross-site scripting) and fend them off before they reach your website.
How to change the firewall settings for your domains
Click Security in the menu on the left, then click Website Firewall (WAF). You will now see a list of all the domain names in your web hosting and you can choose from one of three options for each domain. Once you have selected a option, click on Save changes.
Option: Firewall ON
Access to your website is checked with a set of rules. If the check is negative, the result is logged and the access is blocked with an error code.
Option: Detect only
Access to your website is checked with a set of rules. If the check is negative, the result is only logged, but no further action is taken.
Option: Firewall off
The firewall for the entire domain is disabled. Incoming access to your website is not checked and therefore not logged.
