Edit Spamfilter (Web- & Mailhosting)
Do you receive unwanted messages or are emails from trusted senders not always delivered? If you have a web hosting or mail hosting package with Green, you can enter the sender addresses directly in your spam filter.
This article will show you how to do this.
How To Proceed
Log in to the my.green.ch customer portal with your MY user.
Note: Every Green customer receives their own user with which they can access the customer portal. The MY user consists of the letters M & Y and six numbers, e.g. ‘MY123456’.
Web & Mail Control Panel
Navigate to the Web & Mail Control Panel.
Select the E-Mails option from the navigation bar on the left-hand side.
Select the option titled Spamfilter.
You now have the option of setting your spam filter.
You can choose from the following options:
- Reject e-mails
- Mark e-mails
- Deactivate
Note: For security reasons, we recommend that you leave the Reject emails option activated.
To allow or block certain sender addresses, click on the Actions button on the right-hand side. Select from the following two options:
- Manage Blacklist
- Manage Whitelist
Enter the addresses you wish to block on the blacklist. Enter addresses that you want to allow on the whitelist.
Note: Make sure that the entry is in a valid format. The format must be entered as an e-mail address, e.g. ‘example@green-example.ch’.
To save your entries, click on the green button titled Save Blacklist or Save Whitelist alternatively.
You can remove existing entries by clicking on the white cross symbol in the blue field.
