Set up an answering machine from Green

It is possible to set up an answering machine for every GreenTalk number. To do this, please log into the my.Green console and click on "Telephony".

The voicemail box can be activated and deactivated separately for each VOIP phone number. To do this, please dial the desired phone number and then click on "Edit voicemail box settings".

Now the answering machine can be activated.

Please note that when you deactivate an existing voicemail box, all messages are deleted. If you only want to do without this temporarily, we recommend setting up call forwarding to another phone number-

After the answering machine has been activated, it can be called up with the area code "086" + 10-digit telephone number.

Example: 086 041 455 xx xx xx

If you call the voice mailbox from abroad, please dial the phone number including the country code.

Example: +41 86 041 455 xx xx xx

As soon as the announcement or melody sounds you can jump directly to the main menu with the * key. If automatic authentication has not been activated, you must now enter the defined PIN code.

All functions of the answering machine can be configured in the main menu. You can also enter a greeting here.
