Modify DNS Records
The DNS (Domain Name System) is a central component of the Internet. In order for your domain to be accessible worldwide, it must first be resolved. The entries required for this are stored in a file on a DNS server. This file is called the DNS zone.
In this article, you will learn how to manage the entries in your DNS zone for your domain.
Manage DNS Zone File
Sign in to the my.green.ch Customer Portal using your MY User.

Once inside of your customer portal select the option All Domains unter the section Shared Hosting.

Here you will find all of your domains registrered with your Green customer profile. In order to manage your DNS records, click on the flag icon.


Here you can manage all of your specific DNS records. Please note the following details:
- Title bar. The name of the domain which corresponds to the DNS zone file is being shown on top.
- Select between Automatic DNS Management und Manual DNS Management.
- Add new entry to the DNS zone file or use a template (Hosted Exchange or Google SPF).
- DNS Zone file with all corresponding entries.
Note: When changing from Manual to Automatic all existing DNS entries will be overwritten and be replaced with default values. This action cannot be undone.
