Adding additional storage capacity
You can expand the storage space of a virtual machine at any time in the VDC Pro portal by either increasing the storage space of the existing hard disk or adding a new hard disk.
Please note, however, that hard disks can be expanded but not reduced in size.
As a starting point for both options, the corresponding "Device" must be opened in edit mode. You can do this with the "Edit Device" button.
You can then select "Hard disks" at the top right to open the correct section.
Expand storage
Use the "Edit" action on the corresponding disk to expand or delete it.

Either select to extend the disk only or extend the disk and the partition at the same time.
When extending the partition, we recommend to create a snapshot of the virtual machine beforehand. You can also use the option to automatically create a snapshot.
Add additional hard drive
Click on "Add New Hard Disk" and continue with the process.

In the pop-up window, select whether the storage should be based on an SSD or HDD and specify the required storage size. Click on the "Save changes" button to finalize the changes.
