Virtual servers widen an SME’s scope since the strict limits of its own server structure is no longer a hindrance and can be expanded as needed. Based on the model you choose, the boundaries between your own on-site IT, the hosted cloud, and the public cloud merge. The modular concept allows you to select and quickly use the modules that are right for you.

When choosing a cloud provider, close attention should be paid to the interoperability of the selected solution. Ideally, virtual servers can be seamlessly connected to the local infrastructure. A management console should allow you to both monitor and move applications as well as configure entire server farms and virtual networks. It should also be possible to use a modern cloud package for backups.
